FOOTHILL ART IS BACK!
Welcome back to a new 2013-2014 school year! We are excited to start a new year of amazing creativity with your students. We are so grateful to our new principal, Dr. Backman, for supporting and continuing the art program. This has truly been a labor of love to set up, and we know your students can't wait to see what's in store for them during Art Time this year.
If you have signed up to be an Art Mom this year, we are so glad to have you on our team. If you're a returning Art Mom, welcome back! If you're a new Art Mom, you're in for a treat. Art is many students' favorite time of the week, and you will be amazed at the creative things they come up with.
Art Moms, please attend our Orientation Meeting on Tuesday, September 24th. We will be holding two meetings for your convenience, please plan to attend ONE of these meetings. There will be a 9:30 AM meeting and a 2 PM meeting. Both will be held in the Teacher's Lounge area, just south of the office and north of the gym.
Art Time will officially start on September 30th. We have lessons set up for Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, March, and April. Our big gala, where we display all the artwork the students' have created over the year, will be at the end of April. Most classes will hold art on Mondays at the end of the day (i.e. 1:30), but please contact your students' teacher to confirm this.
