Greetings Art Volunteers!
We hope everyone is having a great time teaching art to their students. If you have any problems or questions, please make us aware of them by emailing foothillartsprogram@gmail.com. We'd love to hear how things are going. You are our eyes and ears on the ground and your input is invaluable.
We're coming up on the holiday season. Please be aware that there is no formal art lesson set for December.
The two weeks that we are in school during December are a great time to:
- finish up projects that ran long,
- have any kids who were absent complete their "final projects"
- ask your teacher if they have a holiday-themed project they'd like you to help with
- work on an "extra time project" (see link at the right)
- take a break and sip some cocoa if the teacher has made other plans
We are in need of the following supplies:
1. mesh bags that oranges and clementines come in (for a texture project in January)
2. empty CARDBOARD egg cartons of any size: 12, 18, 24...etc.
We're hoping that you have some of these things lying around during the holidays. If so, please bring them into the art room and leave them either on the binder bookshelf or the plastic "current monthly project" drawers. We appreciate your donations to the cause. After all, it takes a village!
