Welcome to 2012!

We are excited for another great year of Art at Foothill Elementary!!!   Art fosters creativity and stimulates the mind. ART IS FUN! Involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skill. Arts learning can also improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.

Foothill Elementary ‘s Art program runs from October to April with monthly art projects that are then displayed and celebrated at the Art Gala.  Your responsibilities will be to coordinate with your teacher to make art a positive and collaborative effort, teach art principles, and help the students compose individual art projects.  

We know this program would be nothing without our parent volunteers. Thanks for all you do!!!
